Prof. Dr. Melih Güven – Über mich

Dr. Melih Güven wurde 1975 in Denizli geboren. Nach Abschluss seiner Primar- und Sekundarschulbildung in İzmir, unter anderem an der Bornova Anatolian High School, besuchte er die Medizinische Fakultät der Universität Ankara, an der er von 1992 bis 1998 Medizin studierte und seinen medizinischen Abschluss erwarb. Anschließend absolvierte er zwischen 1999 und 2004 seine Facharztausbildung in Orthopädie und Traumatologie an der 2. Abteilung für Orthopädie und Traumatologie des Lehr- und Forschungskrankenhauses Istanbul Göztepe.
Im Jahr 2010 wurde Dr. Güven zum Associate Professor an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Abant-İzzet-Baysal-Universität ernannt, und im Jahr 2016 wurde er zum Professor an der Medizinischen Fakultät der Yeditepe-Universität befördert.
Dr. Melih Güven hat bisher insgesamt 82 wissenschaftliche Artikel verfasst, darunter 63 Publikationen in internationalen und 19 in nationalen Fachzeitschriften. Er hat zudem 26 wissenschaftliche Arbeiten auf internationalen und 60 auf nationalen wissenschaftlichen Tagungen präsentiert. Seine Publikationen wurden insgesamt 1.387 Mal zitiert.
Neben seinen Fachpublikationen hat Dr. Güven ein Buch herausgegeben, sieben Buchkapitel verfasst und sechs Buchkapitel übersetzt. Er wurde außerdem 28 Mal als Redner zu nationalen und internationalen wissenschaftlichen Tagungen eingeladen.
Dr. Güven erhielt 2004 die Zertifizierung des Turkish Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (TOTEK) und wurde 2008 mit der Fellowship des European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FEBOT) ausgezeichnet.
Im Laufe seiner akademischen Karriere erhielt er acht nationale wissenschaftliche Publikationspreise und verfügt über ein international patentiertes Produkt.
