Dr. Melih Güven 1975 yılında Denizli’de doğdu. İlköğretim ve Lise eğitimini İzmir’de (Bornova Anadolu Lisesi) gerçekleştirdikten sonra, 1992 – 1998 yılları arasında Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde tıp eğitimini, 1999 – 2004 yılları arasında S.B. İstanbul Göztepe Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, 2. Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Kliniği’nde ihtisas eğitimini tamamladı. 2010 yılında Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde Doçent, 2016 yılında Yeditepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde Profesör ünvanı aldı.

2018 yılı ocak ayından itibaren OsteoAcademy bünyesinde Ataşehir Florence Nightingale Hastanesi ve OsteoAcademy ofislerinde çalışmaya başladı Prof. Dr. Melih Güven’in bugüne kadar uluslararası (61) ve ulusal (19) dergilerde yayınlanmış toplam 80 adet bilimsel makalesi, yurtdışı toplantılarda sunulmuş 24, yurtiçi toplantılarda sunulmuş 60 adet bildirisi bulunmaktadır. Bilimsel yayınlarına bugüne kadar toplam 1115 kez atıf yapılmıştır. Bir adet kitap editörlüğü, 7 adet kitap bölüm yazarlığı ve 6 adet kitap bölüm çevirisi bulunan Prof. Dr. Melih Güven, ulusal ve uluslararası bilimsel toplantılarda 27 kez konuşmacı olmuştur.

2004 yılında Türk Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Eğitim Konseyi (TOTEK) Board sertifikası, 2008 yılında ise Avrupa Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Cemiyeti Board sertifikası (Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology – FEBOT) sahibi olan Prof. Dr. Melih Güven’in ulusal düzeyde 8 adet bilimsel yayın ödülü ve uluslararası düzeyde 1 adet patentli ürünü bulunmaktadır.
