Shoulder joint injuries are one of the injuries that can occur frequently after falling on cold and snowy winter days and sometimes lead to the development of complicated fractures and dislocations. Rare fractures may sometimes accompany dislocations of the acromioclavicular (AC) joint (the joint between the collarbone and the acromion of the scapula), which is another common dislocation type in the shoulder girdle after shoulder joint dislocation. In our 44-year-old male patient, you can follow the results of the surgical intervention we performed for the AC joint and coracoid process fracture, which was developed after a fall on the snow. Three-dimensional reconstructions of computed tomographic images facilitate our work, help us choose the appropriate fixation method and place the implants in the correct position in order to be able to master the fracture anatomy and plan the surgical intervention in orthopedic injuries.
