Prof. MD Melih Güven was born in Denizli in 1975. After completing his primary education and high school education (Bornova Anatolian High School) in İzmir, he completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine between 1992-1998, and then his specialization training  at 2nd Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of S.B. Istanbul Göztepe Training and Research Hospital between 1999 – 2004.

He received the title of Associate Professor at Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Medicine in 2010 and Professor Doctor of Medicine at Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2016. He works within the body of OsteoAcademy in Ataşehir Florence Nightingale Hospital and OsteoAcademy offices since January 2018. Prof. MD Melih Güven has a total of 80 scientific articles published in international (61) and national (19) journals, 24 papers presented at international meetings and 58 papers presented at national meetings. His scientific publications have been cited 1115 times in total to date. He is the editor of 1 book, the author of 7 book chapters and 6 book chapter translations. Prof. MD Melih Güven has been a speaker 27 times at national and international scientific meetings.

Having the Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Education Council (TOTEK) Board certificate in 2004, and the European Orthopedics and Traumatology Society Board certificate (Fellow of the European Board of Orthopedics and Traumatology – FEBOT) in 2008, Prof. MD Melih Güven has 8 scientific publication awards at the national level and owns 1 patented product at the international level.
